Cultural Artefacts Teaching

In this pedagogy video, the teacher demonstrates how to use different artefacts to teach three Chinese history topics. By displaying replicas of cultural artefacts as a warm-up exercise, the teacher first arouses the students' attention and interest, and then guides them to think about the symbolic meaning behind the cultural artefacts, thereby deepening their understanding of the topic. The advantage of displaying cultural artefacts in the classroom is that students can pass them around in the classroom, which not only makes them more interested in learning, but also has a deeper memory on the learning content, and it will also help teachers to deliver their teaching.
