My Favorite Job: Initiating the Motivation for Self-regulated Learning

This video introduces how to initiate student’s motivation for self- regulated learning by making use of an online platform. The video uses the topic of “My Favorite Job” in Primary 6 General Studies as an example, for which students have to produce their videos and share on the Flipgrid platform. Students can use this online tool to watch their peers’ videos, and teacher also invited graduated students to share their videos. Students are required to set goals after class. Teachers can use this activity to promote self-regulated learning and students can also grow by learning from each other. This video is designed for Primary General Studies teachers.
