This is a teaching video designed as a form one history lesson. By comparing the political system of Athens and Sparta, students would gradually learn to respect different cultures when they are asked to think about the advantages and disadvantages with different questions. This topic is important because the political systems of ancient Greece had great influence as the models of later development of political systems. It is also important to develop students’ generic skills to communicate and interact with each other’s by using critical thinking. Therefore, the class activities require students to divide into groups.
