Eraser-Tip Pencil

Wan Po Yan

This lesson uses a pencil, an object that students always uses in their daily life, with the summary of the author as an introduction to guide students to think about the content of the text. First, the teacher reads the text and starts to teach the basic knowledge of "adverbs of degree" using daily life examples to make sentences to help students grasp the relevant points. Then, the teacher use the paragraphs with deleted "adverbs of degree" as a comparison, so that students can feel the difference in tone and emotional expression.
