Angles related with lines and planes in 3D figures: Definition of distance, projection of straight line on a plane

The teaching video series entitled ‘Points, Lines, and Planes in 3-D Figures’ is designed for S.3 students to gain an understanding of the concepts of projection of a line onto a plane, angle between a line and a plane, and angle between two planes. In this teaching video, the teacher recaps the definition of distance and explains the concept of the projection of a straight line on a plane with the aid of diagrams. Students can recognize that the distance from the point to its projection point defines the distance from the plane.
