Hong Kong During the Japanese Occupation: Military History

This video responds to the foundation part "Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation" of Topic 12 "The growth and transformation of Hong Kong in the 20th century" of the junior secondary History subject curriculum. According to the curriculum document, the learning point of this topic is the process of invasion by the Japanese. In this video, we have invited Dr Kwong Chi Man, Associate Professor of Department of History, Hong Kong Baptist University to introduce us to the military history of Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation. Students can pay attention to the reasons for the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, the tactics used, and how Hong Kong faced the Japanese invasion, etc.
