In this lesson, the topic is ‘Our National Anthem’ based on the book titled “Chee Lai” Our National Anthem by Huang Tian. Learning objectives include: 1. The origin of the national anthem, 2. The lyricist and composer of the national anthem, 3. Why should the national anthem be respected. The teacher used several short videos as introduction to explain the symbols of the national anthem and the etiquette of playing and singing the national anthem. In the class, the students listened to others share their feelings about the national anthem, which deepened their understanding of the national anthem.
