Shadow: Hand Shadow

Cheng Nga Tan

Through the video, K2 children can learn about "hand shadow" and enjoy the hand shadow performance. The teacher uses questions and games in the video to connect with children's life experiences, enhance their thinking and problem-solving skills, deepen their impressions and knowledge, by identifying animal hand shadows. In the language part, the teacher uses sentences to describe the image e.g., "This shadow looks like (a bird)”. Children can try creating hand shadows with their parents at home to develop their imagination. This video is suitable for early childhood education teachers and pre-service teachers to watch.
