透過影片，低班幼兒能認識有關「手影」知識，欣賞手影表演。教師在影片中進行提問和遊戲，連結幼兒生活經驗，增強幼兒思考及解難能力，加深對事物的印象和認知，從而能辨別不同動物的手影。語文方面，教師運用句式「這個影子像(小鳥)。」去描述圖像。幼兒在家可與家長嘗試創作手影，培養想像力。這影片適合幼兒教育老師、幼教職前學生收看。
