透过影片，低班幼儿能认识有关「手影」知识，欣赏手影表演。教师在影片中进行提问和游戏，连结幼儿生活经验，增强幼儿思考及解难能力，加深对事物的印象和认知，从而能辨别不同动物的手影。语文方面，教师运用句式「这个影子像(小鸟)。」去描述图像。幼儿在家可与家长尝试创作手影，培养想像力。这影片适合幼儿教育老师、幼教职前学生收看。
