Reasons for the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War and its Impact

The video demonstrates teaching with the use of Nearpod and Padlet to explain the reasons for China’s success in the Second Sino-Japanese War and its impact. The teacher first uses the Padlet to show the timeline of the whole process of the eight-year war and then uses the Nearpod tool to help the students match the names of the historical figures with their photos. Students are asked to vote on the critical factor that determined the war’s outcome, which aims to inspire them to think independently and develop learning initiatives. The teacher concludes the lesson by summarising the external and internal reasons behind China’s victory. The video was designed for Secondary Chinese History.
