短片的教學對象是一班能力較參差且學習動機不高的學生。短片開頭先以一條在曾經在網絡上很熱門的有趣影片引起同學動機，打破中文堂沉悶的印象。同時利用影片幫助同學先學會觀察人物，為訓練人物描寫能力奠定基礎，緊接著由認識而到辨析，再到應用人物描寫手法。
